What does it do?

I’M BORED Hair Makeup is a color serum that combines salon-grade pigments with a nontoxic, conditioning formula that deposits a semi-temporary color. The serum-like texture contains aloe vera and soy protein to help moisturize, reduce flyaways, protect from heat damage, add volume + shine, all while adding a light hold for styling. I’M BORED semi-temporary color typically lasts between 2-6 washes.

What does it smell like?

Fragranced with a blend of mandarin and lemon essential oils, this fun scent also contains hints of coconut milk and whipped marshmallow!

What else should you know?

Color payoff will vary based how much hair is lightened as well as on the porosity of the hair and underlying hair chemistry. We recommend you conduct a hair strand test to determine color payoff. After the first wash, color may remain but the styling hold will be gone.

HOW TO USE

Step 1: Start with towel-dried hair.

Step 2: Grab your favorite shade of I’m Bored!

Step 3: Section out the strands of hair you want to color.

Step 4: Pump I’m Bored into your fingertips. (Afraid of staining? Wear gloves!)

Step 5: Work into hair with fingers, fully saturating the section.

Step 6: Blow dry and style!

I’M BORED will last 2-6 washes!

Tips:

  • Dab hair with a towel to remove any excess product before blow drying. This tends to help the hair appear less “greasy”.
  • Want to extend the life of the color? Wash with cool water!
  • Want to remove color faster? Wash with hot water and use a clarifying shampoo!
  • Blow dry color in, then rinse hair to remove any undesired hold. Don’t worry, your color will stay intact!
  • Want a bolder, longer lasting color? Use I’m Bored on dry hair!
